Structural Repeated workflows
A framing plugin built around the team's workflow
The team chooses approved families, sections and spacing, previews the result, then commits the framing to Revit.

What changed
Framing that was placed and configured by hand can now be generated in seconds. The team still controls the inputs and checks the preview before anything is committed to Revit.
The problem
A structural team placed and configured its framing in Revit by hand on every project. The families and sections followed the team's standards, but placing them across the project was still a repetitive modelling task. Repeating that setup across projects took time and left the modeller to reproduce the same choices each time.
What I built
I built a custom Revit plugin around the team’s existing modelling standards. The user chooses from approved families, sections and spacing, and the plugin reads the project’s grids and levels to lay out the framing.
The result is previewed before it is committed, so the user can check the proposed framing first.
